Emily Hutt

Professional BMX Racer

Emily Hutt is one of Britain’s brightest BMX stars, known for her fearless racing, emotional strength, and an impressive run of podium finishes in the U23 category. Born in Ashford, Kent, in 2004, she began racing at just three years old, quickly rising through the ranks to earn national titles before joining the Great Britain Cycling Team’s Podium Potential program in Manchester.

Her journey hasn’t been without setbacks. In 2023, she dealt with a concussion and multiple crashes that tested her resilience. However, she bounced back with a silver medal at the UCI World Championships in Glasgow. She followed this with silver medals at the 2024 Worlds in Rock Hill, USA, and the European Championships in Verona. That same year, she claimed the British National U23 title and was named a traveling reserve for Team GB at the Paris Olympics.

In 2025, Emily’s success has continued, with consistent top finishes in the UCI World Cup standings and standout performances in Sarians, France. Her racing displays explosive starts, smooth technical skills, and a fierce competitive edge.

Off the track, Emily stays grounded, driven by her passion for the sport and her close-knit family of BMX racers, including her siblings Matt and Lucy. Training alongside Olympic gold medalist Beth Shriever, she’s not only chasing medals but also inspiring a new generation of emotionally intelligent, fearless British BMX athletes.

Emily Hutt isn’t just racing for results—she’s racing to inspire.
