Michelle Wissing is a rising star in Dutch BMX racing, quickly becoming one of the top U23 athletes globally.
Born in Ulft in 2003, she’s renowned for her explosive starts, sharp tactics, and unstoppable determination. In 2025, Michelle clinched the U23 World Championship title in Copenhagen with a dominant performance, cementing her status as a generational talent.
Her lead-up to the Worlds was remarkable: four straight World Cup wins, including doubles in Sarrians and Papendal, plus a silver medal at the European Championships in Latvia. She also shocked the Dutch BMX scene by defeating Olympic medalist Manon Veenstra at the National Championships.
Michelle’s drive is as intense as her talent. She has openly expressed her will to win, stating, “If you know you’re the strongest, you want it even more.” With elite-level achievements already under her belt, she’s gearing up to leave the U23 category and compete against the world’s best in the elite division.
